Calling male Peron’s tree frog, Litoria peronii, at Glenbrook, New South Wales, Australia.

We have lots of these guys calling around our pool* during the warmer months. The females they attract lay eggs in the pool and we end up with a huge number of tadpoles and eventually froglets.

• The pool hasn’t been chlorinated in years and now have a complex ecosystem.
